Simmi at the Pet Shop

We went to do laundry today and afterwards we visited the pet shop. It was Simone’s first visit to the pet shop. In the video you will notice that I cut her hair. I had to work a bit of magic to accomplish that feat in order to make it look half way decent. Since she has been steadily pulling her hair out on both sides behind her ears, she had this very long chunk of curl that ended up looking like a rats tail or a mullet. I couldn’t stand looking at it anymore. She does pull out some other areas, but not as much as the sides, so I just cut the tail off and trimmed up her hair as best I could. How did I accomplish this magic act? Well, she was busy being hypnotised by her new favorite movie “Thumbelina” and when she watches this movie she literally does not move for a good 20 minutes. She is totally fixated. I can lift her hands or legs or play with her hair and it won’t phase her. I sat behind her took out the scissors and just started cutting. She NEVER noticed. I think her hair looks much healthier now although when she doesn’t have a barrette in she does tend to look like a really cute little boy!
