I took Simmi to her first playgroup two weeks ago and I was really hopeful that she would get in some great playtime with other children her age, but only two families showed up and both children were under nine months old. She loves to look at babies, but obviously there is not much she can do with them. I was disappointed.
Anyway, as soon as Simmi entered the playroom, she quickly made her way over to the water table. For the rest of the play session, she played in the water. I won’t be able to take her there anymore because about 20 minutes into the session, she started to get a rash on her hands, face and ears. She is sensitive to latex and one of the little babies was playing with those rubber Koosh balls…Simmi of course just had to have one to put into the water. From the time she touched the Koosh ball she immediately broke out.
